Denise - I’m fine, thanks! What about you?
Vanusa - I’m ok. Look, I heard that you are putting down my friend Waldo because he isn’t turning up for classes.
Denise - I can’t believe that! I’m fed up with it!
Vanusa – Take it easy Denise. I’m not looking for trouble. I just wanna know the truth.
Denise - I would never put him down , you can take it from me...I just said that he needed to find an extra time to study ...because he is very good in English.
Vanusa – I agree.
Denise – Do you mind to tell me who told you that?
Vanusa – Let it be. I myself can deal with it. See ya around!

Waldo – Hey Israel, what’s up?
Israel – Guess who I ran into yesterday?
Waldo – Stop beating around the bush and go straight to the source , dude!
Israel – Do you remember Lourival?
Waldo – Of course I do! Where did you meet him?
Israel - Well , I was running down downtown when I ran into him.
Waldo – Was he alone?
Israel – No, he wasn’t. Actually his wife was with him. They were there to buy a gift for their son ...As far as I’m concerned his birthday will take place on next Saturday.
Waldo – I see.
Israel – He asked me to tell everybody that he will visit us soon.
Waldo – Who?
Israel – What do you mean with who?
Waldo – I mean ...can you run that by me again?
Israel – I’m sorry but I gotta go. Anyway I don’t like to waste my precious time .
Waldo – Come on ! Why are you going off?
Israel – Cos’ I hate when somebody talks at me. Bye!

Roni – Where are you going to?
Rômulo - I’m going to my girlfriend’s.
Roni – I didn’t know that you had a girlfriend.
Rômulo - There are many things you don’t know about me.
Roni - I think we should talk more about our lives.
Rômulo – You are right. I’m sorry to cut this short but I need to go.
