****adjetivos menores formados com a sequencia "consoante , vogal, consoante"

****Fat, hot, big...

****dobra se a ultima consoante antes de acrescentar "er"

****fatter, hotter, bigger

====adjetivos menores terminados em "y"precedido por consoante

====easy, ugly,happy...

====troca se o "y" por "i" antes de acrescentar "er"

====easier,uglier,happier


(((( esses adjetivos, apesar de serem menores, recebem a palavra "more" para o comparativo ( real, right. just, wrong)...(verdadeiro, correto, justo, errado)

Pay attention on these sentences:

** Ramon è mais velho do que o Odair

*English is more interesting than Spanish (interesting)

**Inglês è mais interesssante do que Espanhol

@ Podemos concluir que para adjetivos maiores usamos a palavra "more" antes do adjetivo e depois usamos a palavra "than"antes do substantivo ou pronome.

* Obama is more polite than Mc Cain
*Aurelina is more dedicated than the teacher
*Vanusa is more beautiful than Angelina Jolie

@ Concluimos tambem que para adjetivos menores não usamos a palavra "more", ao invès disso, acrescentamos "er" ao adjetivo e usamos a palavra "than"antes do substantivo ou pronome.

Comparative of equality - Comparativo de igualdade

As we are in a competitive world, once in a while we take ourselves comparing people. There are many ways to compare...you can say , for example , that Bruna is as beautiful as Karen or that Gabriel is not so smart as Lorena. This kind of comparision is called " Comparative of equality"

Reading - Aurelina

I remember like today when I saw her for the first time...yeah! I do remember. She was sitting on the second row , first chair. I was explaining about the method ...while she stared at me ...trying to assimilate what I was saying. In my first motivation speech I remember to be said that " English is as difficult as any language...and the only difference between who learn or don't is called resolution" And nowadays , almost three months later
, she became one of the best students I have in Mauà. Aurelina believes herself ...and this is the first step to reach Her objective to learn English. She is an example of dedication and love . I"m proud of being her teacher and friend . I'd like to know wether Aurelina will pull the Israel's friends along with her... I mean...all the class!

Lembro como se fosse hoje quando a vi pela primeira vez...sim! e como lembro! Ela sentou se na segunda fileira , primeira cadeira. Eu explicava sobre o mètodo enquanto ela me encarava...tentando absorver o que eu estava dizendo. Em meu primeiro discurso motivacional , lembro de ter dito " Inglês è tão dificil quanto qualquer idioma...e a ùnica diferença entre quem aprende e quem não aprende se
chama determinação. Hoje em dia, quase três meses depois, ela se tornou uma das melhores alunas que tenho em Mauà. Aurelina acredita em si...e este è o primeiro passo para alcançar seu objetivo de aprender Inglês. Ela è um exemplo de dedicação e amor. Tenho orgulho em ser seu professor e amigo. French Fries and Hot Dog

* George Crum, an Indian chief, worked as a chef and was very proud of his french fries. One day, one of his customers complained that the fries were too thick. Chief Crum grabbed a potato and cut it into very thin slices. He fried them and served them. The customers thought they were great. That's how potato chips were invented.

* Antoine Feuchtwanger sold sausages in the United States around 1880. He served them very hot and gave his clients gloves to hold the sausages. That was very impractical, so Mr. Feuchtwanger substituted the gloves for sliced rolls, inventing the hot dog.

* George Crum, um pajè, trabalhava como cozinheiro chefe e era muito orgulhoso de suas batatas fritas. Certo dia, um de seus clientes se queixou que as batatas estavam grossas demais. O pajè Crum pegou uma batata e a cortou em muitos pedaços finos. Ele as fritou e as serviu. O cliente achou que ficaram òtimas. Foi assim que as batatinhas "chips" foram inventadas.

* Antoine Feuchtwanger vendia salsichas nos Estados Unidos por volta de 1880. Ele as servia muito quente e dava luva aos clientes para segura las. Não era muito pràtico, então o Senhor Feuchtwanger substituiu as luvas por pães fatiados, inventando o cachorro quente.
